This sculptural screen references geological forms, notably the magnificent vertical columns of the dolerite cliffs found in parts of Tasmania.  The undulating lines of the bronze joints represent the layering of strata.  I am drawn to textures and detail, and take delight in the similarity between lichens on weathered stone, and flaking paint on rusted metal.
